On the 17th of July, the Nava del Rey organ regained lost prominence in recent decades. We want to thank everyone who joined us in this event. First, Juan de La Rubia who allowed us to enjoy the instrument intensively and the beginning of what we hope will be a long and rich musical life in this unique instrument.
We also appreciate the efforts of all who have made possible the restoration of the organ from the team that has restored it to the institutions that have funded, tracked and completed the process. We want to thank as well all of the friends who have helped us, with their opinions and varied views of the controversies of the instrument, make the right decisions.
Thanks to the parish of Nava del Rey and his people for their hospitality throughout our stay in this neighboring town. We hope that the program of activities and visits from organists of the most diverse places let us enjoy this important cultural resource and give meaning to the effort.
